INTELLIGENTSIA

Intelligentsia was a gut and remodel done for the owners of the coffee shop franchise Intelligentsia and designed by the architect Barbara Bestor. The big challenge of the project was the fact that we had very little to work with, the original being an outdated shell of a building. Many upgrades such as plumbing, electrical and HVC had to go into the building prior to doing the build-out. The build-out itself was fairly simple, with plywood, Moroccan tile and the beautiful steel doors that we had manufactured. In the end, this project was a great success, and is still standing in the original design as built by Bonura Building.
